QR Studio is an Android application that allows users to generate, manage, and track QR codes. The app is developed and maintained by Yunior ("we", "us", or "our"). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at the email address listed at the bottom of this page.
Account information (only when you sign in)
Signing in is optional. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive and store the account details needed to identify your QR Studio account, including your authentication user ID, email address, display name, and, when provided by Google, your avatar URL. We use this information solely to create, identify, and maintain your account inside our backend.
QR code data
When you create a QR code, we store the following locally on your device and, if you are signed in, in our cloud database:
Static QR codes are stored only on your device. Dynamic QR codes are also synced to our cloud servers so that redirect URLs can be managed remotely.
Scan analytics (dynamic QR codes, Pro plan only)
When someone scans one of your dynamic QR codes, our server records:
People who scan your QR codes do not need to have QR Studio installed. By sharing a dynamic QR code publicly, you acknowledge that scan data will be collected for analytics purposes.
Device identifier
The app generates a random identifier (UUID) the first time it is launched and stores it on your device. This identifier is attached to QR codes you create and is used to associate static QR codes with the device that created them, so they appear correctly on the same device across sessions. This identifier is not tied to your Google account or any other personal information, and we do not use it to track you across apps or websites.
Subscription and entitlement data
If you purchase or restore QR Studio Pro, we verify your subscription with Google Play and store subscription metadata in our backend so your entitlement can be enforced consistently across devices. This may include your app user ID, product ID, base plan ID, purchase token, order ID (when available), subscription status, auto-renew state, purchase and expiry dates, grace-period dates, and timestamps related to verification. We also keep a local cache of your entitlement status on your device for offline use. Google may send subscription lifecycle notifications to our backend so renewals, cancellations, refunds, and expirations stay in sync.
Crash and diagnostics data
We use Firebase Crashlytics to help us detect, investigate, and fix app crashes and stability problems. When a crash or serious error occurs, Crashlytics may receive diagnostic information such as crash logs, stack traces, device model, operating system version, app version, installation identifiers used by Crashlytics, and basic information about the state of the app at the time of the failure. We use this information only to monitor reliability and improve the app.
Information we do not collect
We use the information we collect to:
QR Studio stores the following data locally on your device:
If you explicitly export or share a QR code, the exported file may be written to your Downloads or Pictures library or shared with another app you choose. Those exported copies are controlled by you and are not automatically removed if you later delete your account.
This data is stored in the app's private storage and is not accessible to other apps on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
When you are signed in, your profile data, subscription entitlement records, dynamic QR code data, analytics, and related images are stored in Supabase, a cloud database and storage platform. Data is protected using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your QR codes, analytics, profile, and subscription records is restricted through backend authorization controls and Row Level Security where applicable.
Static QR codes are stored locally only and are not uploaded to our servers. Dynamic QR codes are uploaded to the cloud to enable remote redirect management and scan analytics.
QR Studio uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
We do not integrate any advertising networks, and we do not use third-party analytics SDKs beyond the crash-reporting and diagnostics described above.
You can use the in-app delete option at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account) to remove your cloud QR data and sign out of QR Studio.
If you cannot access the app, or if you want us to remove any remaining account, profile, or subscription-verification records associated with your signed-in QR Studio identity, email lokyam.dev@gmail.com from the email address associated with your QR Studio account, or clearly identify that email in your request.
When you use the in-app delete option:
The in-app delete option does not delete your Google account and may not remove all authentication, profile, or subscription-verification records from our backend systems automatically. If you want those remaining records removed, contact us using the email address above.
Static QR codes are stored locally only and are not deleted from your device when you use the in-app delete option, since they have no cloud backup. You can delete them manually within the app.
Your Google Play subscription is not automatically cancelled when you delete your account. You must cancel it separately through the Google Play Store to avoid future charges.
If you do not delete your account, we retain your data for as long as your account remains active.
QR Studio is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use of QR Studio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
